Louis Freeland Post was a well respected journalist, lawyer, publicist, economist, author of many books, and Undersecretary of Labor in the Woodrow Wilson administration. He died in Washington, D.C., in 1928. He was a lifelong friend of Henry George, and in the 1880s was an editor of Henry George?s weekly organ in New York, The Standard.
