This monograph presents a Novel Wavelet Based FiniteElement(WFE) approach for solving transientproblems arising in structural dynamics.This approach alleviates certain difficulties ofconventional finite element methodology (FEM) forsolving time dependent problems and proves to be apotential alternative to FEM in analyzing timedependent problems.
