Metadata schema is very important and should be considered in digital library. Metadata schema makes metadata interoperability in digital libraries. Standard metadata schema is needed for consistency and ensuring interoperability. We should also consider the requirements of partner library institutions for creating and developing the standard metadata schema. Without consider the requirements of those institutions, metadata interoperability is not going well.
