In 1990, he started his career by joining Korean Broadcasting System's voice acting division. After finishing his three-year exclusive work at KBS, Seung-Jun became a freelancer, and has risen to stardom with his dubbing of Zelgadis Greywords on Slayers, and Kaede Rukawa on Slam Dunk. Many fans of Seung-Jun often call him ??? (Wang-Ja-Nim) meaning "The Prince", which seems to have been derived from his tender voice and the characters the actor mainly dubs. Seung-Jun has become known for his voicing SpongeBob SquarePants (also known as SpongeSong in South Korea) on the Korean dub of a Nickelodeon animated television series SpongeBob SquarePants, Roronoa Zoro on the Korean dub of a Japanese television animation series One Piece, and more recently the Tenth Doctor on the Korean dub of a British science fiction television series Doctor Who.
