In Kodaikanal, growth of carrot is influenced by chemical fertilizers, particularly phosphate fertilizers. The use of bio-fertilizers has still not spread uniformly because lack of awareness and proper promotion. So for creating proper promotional strategy for adoption of bio fertilizers, a study was carried out in kodaikanal region. From this field study, we conclude that the application of biofertilizers will be effective for growth and yield of carrot.
