Most of the religions including the three main religions- Islam, Christianity and Hinduism contain some discriminatory factors which undermine the women’s positions in the society and establish men’s dominating power over women. Hence, there is a conflict between the feminists and the orthodox in the question of changing or reforming religions’ rules which show gender discrimination. But, this is the demand of the modern age to reform and re-read the scripture and to make new innovative rules which would help people regardless male and female to work together in the society.
