This book assesses the impact of development interventions channeled through IDP camps on key development aspects of IDPs. In Sri Lanka, during the war that ended in 2009, more than 280,000 people were displaced. Today, all the IDPs have been resettled returned or locally integrated.In this process, the government had to work in collaboration with local and international organizations while intervening with need-based programs.
