Natural products are among the best and largest source used for the preparation of medicine by pharma industries. In order to achieve a therapeutically valuable drug, screening different parts of the plant for its bioactive compounds and their structures gives a better idea before stepping in to clinical trials. In the present study, Soymida febrifuga seed was analysed for its properties. Here, the present study was carried out with aqueous and solvent extract. Mild heat was applied while preparing aqueous extract, whereas, solvent was used for GC-MS study to achieve complete extraction of all phytochemical as all compounds won’t get dissolved in water. Almost all phytochemicals were present in the aqueous extract of seed, the percent yield was good. The antioxidant study showed promising results.
