During this degree, I mainly worked on developing rat CNS during perinatal period. I subsequently obtained my PhD degree in Embryology and Comparative Anatomy and particularly in developmental-neuroendocrinology and -physiology field in 2009. I studied the interactions between the different states of thyroid hormones and rat brain development during the perinatal period. I gained a remarkable experience in different biochemical, histological/cellular and cell culture techniques in vertebrate brain (rats & chicken). Generally, I published several international papers and books. I also have a strong background in endocrinology and a more specific expertise in thyroidology.
