I was born Just before the Second World War started. It wasn't my fault, and I do not remember much about it, except that at the end of the war, my father allowed me out of the shelter to observe a dog fight in the sky. I was born With a voice to sing. I have never, ever appreciated how wonderful a gift this was, until it was taken away from me by my Parkinsons. I now can't sing but I want to. I remember being in a church choir at 5, when my mother was asked if her "little boy would sing a solo" and so, commenced my career called "LIFE". Infants school, junior school, from where I won a scholarship to Winchester College Choir School for three years. That voice again! Churchers College, Petersfield. Apprenticed to Trollope and Colls Ltd's Portsmouth subsidiary. Married at twenty - second child at twenty one, Fourth at twentyfive. It had to stop. I then got on with my business life to the detriment of the family. Quantity Surveying and Contract's manager for various local firms....
