The Israeli high tech industry is well positioned among the top five world leaders in the field.Israel while small is experiencing a constant growth in expatriate managers.Israel is part of the Western World and yet there is little research related to the activities of Israeli Multinational Corporations, to Israeli Expatriate Management, or to tacit knowledge transfer activities of Israeli expatriate managers. Retention of Israeli expatriate managers upon completion of their assignments has also not been examined. This study examines the activity of Israeli expatriate managers in transferring tacit knowledge to home offices during their assignments .While on assignment, an expatriate manager acquire valuable knowledge.
