Handicapper's Outline is a collection of the author's experiences with and thoughts on the greyhound dog races, some comments on other handicap systems, clarification of commonly referenced dog race handicap terminology, a layout of the grade system for all known dog tracks currently in operation, and the presentation of a simplified dog race handicap system with past performance practices to enhance your handicap skills. I'm originally from Kansas. I am a US Marine Corps Vietnam veteran (Semper Fi) and a retired law enforcement officer with twenty-five years of service. I relocated to Washington State three months after I retired, and I currently reside there. I am a first-time author. I was introduced to greyhound dog races in 1983, and I traveled on several occasions to Bluffs Run greyhound dog track in Council Bluffs, Iowa before the Woodlands greyhound dog track began operation in September of 1989 in Basehor, Kansas.
