Trees are being cut down, the extensive use of wood in building purpose, land use change and management practices have contributed to increasing greenhouse gas emission. We are facing the effects of changing weather patterns and extreme events on our forests. This study explores and summarizes the replacement of wooden frames by concrete frames. It also explains the findings that support the environmental and economic benefits of using concrete door and window frames. Moreover, it describes the positive aspects of concrete frames and compares it with wooden frames.
