Development of a Kriging-based Metamodel for Global Optimization

Sometimes the cost and complexity associated with the optimization algorithms increases with increasing the complexity of the desired optimization problem. Engineering community is using such Meta Modeling techniques in design problems to replace the system function with an appropriate surrogate model improve the efficiency in simulation and optimization. This research study shows development and implementation of a Meta Model and its utilization for Global Optimization.
