Performance risk is a conditionfostering potential loss of efficiency and/oreffectiveness that diminishes measurable performanceoutcomes. Performance risk can be identified byassessing the organizational performance system. TheOrganizational Performance System (OPScts the theory of performance systems and can beused as an instrument guide for assessing performancerisk. This study explores the utility of the OPSmodel of performance systems inidentifying performance risk.
