The eight playwrights featured in PLAY not only developed their plays in the classroom during ACT's Young Playwrights Program in the fall, but also were selected by theatre professionals for inclusion in the ACT Young Playwright Festival. For these young playwrights, the process meant hours of rehearsal with a team of adult working theatre artists, culminating in two staged performances in front of ticket-buying audiences at ACT in March of 2010.
