This set, comprising eight different versions: English, Russian, Japanese, German, French, Spanish, Arabic and Korean, is designed for use by beginners of Chinese in a wide range of countries and regions. According to our experience, though learners of Chinese from different countries and regions share certain common problems and difficulties, more often they are apt to encounter their own distinctive problems and difficulties. We therefore comprehensively sum up some special points governing Chinese language learning so as to respectively formulate various pedagogics to suit the needs of people of different countries and regions and compile special textbooks for people of different cultures. Our present effort is to put this concept into practice.
